SSSS Catering
This following is a suggestion about how the catering will work for the trip…
BREAKFASTS:
The pantry and fridges will be well stocked with a selection of breakfast foods including bacon, eggs, toast, fruit, fruit juice, tea/coffee sugar. Spreads will include vegemite, honey, blackberry jam, crunchy peanut butter. Everyone will look after themselves for breakfasts but need to make sure they don’t get in the way of the people rostered on to prepare lunches. Damian, Simmo, Seano and Brock will buy all the food on their way up from Melbourne for the breakfasts (and lunches) and pack the fridge and pantry.
LUNCHES: Duties of those rostered on to lunch
People rostered to sort out lunch only need to cut the ingredients for each days sandwiches and get everything out on the bench so people can file though and make their own sandwiches. Once everyone has made their lunches you will clean up the kitchen and get ready for kayaking. Ingredients for lunches include cold meats, fruit, vegetables, breads, butter, cheese and sauces such as relish. All the lunch ingredients will be purchased by Damian, Brock, Seano and Simmo on their way up from Melbourne
DINNERS: Duties of those rostered on to dinner
Those rostered on for dinner have the responsibility for buying and preparing nice big meals for all SSSS members. Dinners will need to have options for those with eating disorders such as being gluten intolerant or vegetarian. If you are rostered on you are not expected to do all the dished for everyone but should have a sink full of soapy hot water ready to go for when people are finished eating. If the people rostered on for dinner make too much and the leftovers are suitable for tomorrows lunch the dinner rosterees should talk with those rostered on for the next day’s lunch to see how it fits in with their planning.

Back Deck Roll
This is the roll I'm going to become a master in. Some solid sessions in the Spring Hill Baths i think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnvrBZKsFGI
Transportation
This post devoted to us getting the transportation sorted out. So far i am sorted (Damo), Simmo i think flying to Melbourne to meet me at Geelong with Seano. They will be team Lovejoy at the Masters Games before we head up Jindabyne on the 7th...
Gear Stuff
Contributions to this post should be aimed at everyone sharing ideas about what the best combinations of gear is for the trip i.e. cold water, type of boat to take, spare paddles.
